53. MSF - Authentic Croatian Toys – a workshop for preschool kids

Pod vodstvom Tanje Tandare, projektne menadžerice u kulturi, u sklopu djelatnosti Udruge za projektni menadžment u kulturi poVUcizakulturu, koja provodi edukativni projekt HAI – hrvatske autentične igračke, održala se radionica za djecu predškolske dobi zagrebačkih vrtića. Na svibanjskoj radionici u Kulturnom centru Travno bilo je 95 djece u pet predškolskih skupina iz dječjih vrtića Sopot, Tratinčica, Utrina, Travno i Zapruđe.
Igračke su osmislili studenti dizajna, a inspirirane su hrvatskom kulturnom baštinom s ciljem koncipiranja didaktičkih igračaka koje potiču interaktivno iskustvo igre. Didaktički materijal namijenjen je djeci predškolske dobi koja uz igru usvajaju razvojne vještine i ujedno upoznaju hrvatsku baštinu.
Dance workshops "Dance with us!"
“Dance with us” dance workshop is taking place on the Gradec Stage, every evening, after the regular program. This dance workshop with the longtime tradition has three teachers: Mr. Vido Bagur, Mr. Goran Ivan Matoš and Mr. Francis Feybli. They are accompanied by Festival participants as demonstrators, and with the selected folklore groups from Croatia and foreign countries performing at this year’s Festival. Hence, this workshop will provide both very interesting and valuable experience for attendants…..

Dance workshop Volkstänze aus aller Welt conducted by Francis Feybli (Switzerland) / guest dance teachers Bruna Piccazio (Brazil), Ximena Banegas (Bolivija), Estefania Solórzano (Ekvador)
Francis Feybli from Switzerland is a longtime associate of the International Folklore Festival and its first dance workshop leader. Since 1983, Feybli has been teaching dance within the workshops Dance with Us together with the members of the Group for International Folklore of the “Ivan Goran Kovačić” student ensemble, which Nenad Bićanić founded two years earlier with his help. The repertoire of the workshop includes the dance heritage of many nations, primarily European. Francis Feybli is also a great connoisseur of Croatian folklore. In addition to the dance workshop Dance with Us, conducted by Vido Bagur and Goran Ivan Matoš, Feybli also leads a day workshop for foreign and domestic participants, teaching Croatian dances and dances of other European nations.
At this year’s Festival, special guests at his workshops at the Upper Town High School are Bruna Piccazio (Brazil), and two students of postgraduate master studies (Choreomundus International Joint Master in Dance Knowledge, Practice and Heritage), organized at four universities: Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, Clermont Auvergne University in France, Hungarian University of Szeged and the University of Roehampton in the UK: Ximena Banegas (Bolivia) and Estefania Solórzano (Ecuador). At every workshop (from Friday to Sunday), along with the dances of various European countries, half an hour will be dedicated to the dances of Latin America – Bolivia, Brazil and Ecuador!
