This year&#8217;s Smotra highlights the rebuilding of folk societies in Croatian villages that have been damaged in the war, and therefore its motto is &#8220;Renewing the Heritage&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The reconstruction program includes ten hard-hit places that return to life after warfare:[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243; basel_color_scheme=&#8221;light&#8221;][vc_column_text]Pridvorje, Vrlik, Kijevo, Pola\u010d, Lovinac, Slunj, Glina (with surrounding Croatian villages) \u0110eletovce, Koro\u0111 \/ Korogy (Hungarian minority) and Dubo\u0161evica. Their inhabitants experienced the fate of displaced persons and then returnees.<\/p>\n<p>This program will also include Croats from Srijem, from the village of Gibarac near Sida; expelled from their village, they now live in about forty places in Croatia and gather in Osijek in the &#8220;Gibarac Provincial Association&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The Ethnologist and Folklorist Group sought to provide expert assistance to returnees in the rebuilding of their folklore societies as part of the social and cultural life that begins again.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to performing at Returnees and Renovation Program, the exhibition &#8220;Traditional Culture and War: Reconstruction of Folklore Societies&#8221; is dedicated, showing video clips and expert debates.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column
