The project also encourages the participants to learn about the legacy of other cultures whose heirs participate in this international camp, with the help of mentors. By gathering knowledge about the musical traditions of others, young people learn about equality, tolerance and democracy.<\/p>\n<p>Ethno Croatia will bring together young musicians from all around the world from 9<sup>th<\/sup> to 19<sup>th<\/sup> July 2019, at the International Cultural Center of Jeunesses Musicales Croatia in the beautiful Istrian town of Gro\u017enjan, recognized as a JMI World Meeting Center. They will socialize and learn from each other about the music of the countries they come from. The camp will gather young musicians from Belgium, Denmark, Croatia, Sweden, Estonia, Zimbabwe, Spain, Finland, Jordan, Chile, England and more.<\/p>\n<p>Ethno Croatia is proud to present this year\u2019s artistic leaders, the outstanding and experienced musicians who will teach the participants and assist them in learning, arranging and creating music.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/12&#8243; basel_color_scheme=&#8221;light&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;5\/12&#8243; basel_color_scheme=&#8221;light&#8221;][vc_column_text]<strong>Lucija Stanojevi\u0107<\/strong> graduated in violin from the Zagreb Academy of Music. She teaches violin and leads a string orchestra at a music school. Stanojevi\u0107 performs solo, in chamber ensembles, orchestras and bands. She also organizes and conducts workshops for children, as well as the <em>sound painting<\/em>, chamber music and traditional music workshops. She was one of the mentors at the workshops and camps <em>El Sistema<\/em> in Pula, Zagreb, Vienna and Milan. Stanojevi\u0107 writes stories for children and released her first picture book <em>Ritam Zvukolik<\/em> in 2018. She is the co-author of the children\u2019s theater play <em>Zvukolika \u0161uma<\/em>. After participating in the ethno workshops in Gro\u017enjan, Sweden, France and Denmark, she will work as the assistant artistic director at the Ethno Croatia 2019 workshop.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nils Peschanski<\/strong> is a former member of Ethnofonik and various Ethno workshops. This will be his second year of teaching at Ethno, after Ethno France in 2019 and the first Folkatron (electro Ethno in England) in 2018. He draws musical ideas from his diverse experiences. Peschanski plays the keyboard in many rock, hip-hop and electro bands in France (<em>Noflipe<\/em>, <em>Le Vasco<\/em> <em>&amp;<\/em> <em>Global Network<\/em>), with whom he has performed throughout France and Europe, as well as at the famous festivals Transmusicales de Rennes, Printemps de Bourges, Great Escape in Brighton and Eurosonic in Groningen.
