The <em>List<\/em> was put together by the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports to include cultural phenomena that the Federation intends to nominate and include on the UNESCO <em>Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.<\/em>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243; basel_color_scheme=&#8221;light&#8221;][vc_column_text]These include: <em>Konjic woodcarving<\/em>; <em>egg shoeing in Kre\u0161evo<\/em>; <em>lacework \u2013 kera<\/em>; <em>pilgrimage to Ajvatovica \u2013 Prusac<\/em>; <em>pilgrimage to St. John \u2013 Podmila\u010dje<\/em>; <em>pottery work in Lije\u0161evo<\/em>; <em>grass mowing customs in Kupres<\/em>; <em>ganga, the polyphonic singing form of rural tradition<\/em>; <em>the singing of sevdalinka, the musical and poetic form of urban tradition<\/em>; <em>the building and playing of the karaduzen instrument<\/em>; <em>polyphonic singing \u201cin threes\u201d in Usora;<\/em> and <em>jumping from the Old Bridge in Mostar<\/em>. <em>Konjic woodcarving <\/em>was included on the <em>Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity<\/em> in 2017, and the <em>Grass Mowing Customs in Kupres<\/em> have passed the nomination process.<\/p>\n<p>The material for the exhibition <em>Intangible cultural heritage of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the collection of the Monastery of St. Elijah<\/em> is a part of the ethnographic collection kept in the Monastery and Spiritual Center \u201cKarmel of St. Elijah\u201d on Lake Bu\u0161ko near Tomislavgrad. The collection holds traditional clothes, jewelry, laces and utensils of all three peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina: Croats, Serbs and Bosniaks.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243; basel_color_scheme=&#8221;light&#8221;][vc_column_text]For this exhibition, the material about the intangible heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been selected from the entire ethnographic collection in the Monastery of St. Elijah. This is a multimedia exhibition presenting twelve cultural phenomena through items created using traditional crafts, accompanying texts, artistic photography and videos.<\/p>\n<p>Although all cultural elements from the <em>Preliminary open list<\/em> are interesting and deserving of attention, some of the exhibits or exhibition sections should be especially noted. These include the <em>maiden room <\/em>from Konjic, which was hand-carved by Hamdija Hamdo Kadi\u0107 called Gunjo (1896 \u2013 1989).
