On Monday, July 3, 2023, a press conference was held to announce the program of the 57th Zagreb International Folklore Fair.
The following spoke in front of numerous media: the Mayor of the City of Zagreb, Tomislav Tomašević, the Minister of Culture, Ph.D. sc. Nina Obuljen Koržinek, artistic director of the IFF Zagreb, Ph.D. Tvrtko Zebec the director of the Tourist Board of the City of Zagreb, Ph.D. Martina Bienenfeld.
As an introduction to the press conference, members of the folklore ensemble “Rečica” from Rečica performed with a repertoire that thematically covers this year’s theme of Pokuplje. The audience was presented with the “rozganje” singing technique accompanied by a tambura orchestra.
