38TH INTERNATIONAL FOLKLORE FESTIVAL IN ZAGREB

21 – 25 July, 2005

This Festival is dedicated to the 300th birthday anniversary of friar Andrija Kačić Miošić, the author of the most often read book among the Croats, Razgovor ugodni naroda slovinskoga (Pleasant Conversations of the Slavic People). Poems from the book have been passed on through generations by word of mouth, and some of them have become a part of the living oral heritage.
